Sometimes you just shake your head…..

I love Google Alerts

I use them to inform me when a certain thing gets indexed. This morning I had a phrase response from Google Alerts that kinda threw me. This page showed up in my Google Alert, which tells me it is in the index. Guess you don’t have to all kinds of content on a page to be indexed.

This is a great read! In case you haven’t noticed, Google has a goal of providing the most relevant search results to their users. Maybe that’s why they are the number one search engine. This link will direct you to an article that talks about how they approach changing their algorithm. Of particular interest is how the don’t try to block specific companies, but all companies that do the same thing!
